REPENT OR PERISH
Luke 13:1-9
- Pilate’s Actions (vs. 1-3)
a. What story do the people relate to Jesus about Pilate?
b. What does it seem the people thought about those killed while they offered sacrifices at the temple based on Jesus question?
c. What does Jesus tell these people about what they must do?
d. Is Jesus speaking about just physical death or something more?
- The Tower of Siloam (vs. 4-5)

b. Here again what seems to be the mindset toward those who died?
c. Does Jesus say the men died because they were the worst of sinners?
d. What application does Jesus state the people ought to take from both of these tragic events?
- The Parable of the Barren Fig Tree (vs. 6-9)
a. Who and what are the key players in the parable?
b. What was the expectation of the one who planted the fig tree in his vineyard?
c. Was the man satisfied with what he found?
d. What was his attitude towards this barren fig tree?
e. What was the response from the keeper and why?
f. What are we to understand this parable is about?
Application: If one declares themselves to be a Christian what is the one expectation God has for each of us?
