Pastor Tom's March Newsletter 2019

March 2019

Dear Church Family,

The daylight hours are increasing and there is a growing anticipation for spring. Just wait it out a little longer… but in the mean time we start to prepare for our summer activities and plan for the things we want to do or hope to accomplish. Have you noticed that dreams that aren’t planned are never accomplished? So prayerfully plan and then when its time start checking things off your list.

I have been encouraging / challenging our church family to narrow our individual focus…instead of being overwhelmed by how many lost people there are, focus on investing in at least one person to purposefully invest and share the gospel. Pray that God will move in this effort to bring people to Himself!

We are planning Vacation Bible School for June 3-7 with a VBS musical scheduled for Sunday June 9th.. Preparations are already underway so please talk to Jennifer Gosh and find a place to plug in to support the wonderful evangelistic effort. There really are things for everyone to do (men, women, and teens)!

*Hatcher Pass Baptist VBS training is scheduled for April 15th at FLBC.

*FLBC VBS pizza and planning party April 16th at 6:00pm.

*Leading a child to Christ at FLBC May 20th at 6:00pm

*VBS prayer walk Wednesday May 29 at 6:00pm.

*VBS decorating June 1 at 10:00am.

There are many maintenance projects that need to be accomplished this summer…sheetrock repairs, general upkeep, and grounds keeping. Talk to David Suiter about helping.

Psalm 121:1-3 I will lift up my eyes to the hills- From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.
