Introduction to Haggai: Consider Your Ways (Haggai 1: 1-15)

INTRODUCTION TO HAGGAI: CONSIDER YOUR WAYS

Haggai 1:1-15

Haggai prophesied in 520 B.C. He is the first of the post-exile prophets and was a contemporary of Zechariah.

From Haggai 2:3 it appears Haggai remembered Solomon’s temple so he would have been very old by 520 B.C.

Haggai is likely short for Haggiah means “Feast of YAHWEH.”
