d. How does verse 2 show Who has done the work to reconcile Israel to God?

II. Praise the Lord (vs. 3-5)

b. What is the spiritual response from people who have been saved?

c. What forms of responses spring from those whose lives have been reconciled to God?

III. Sing to the Lord (vs. 5-6)

  1. In that day will Israel sing about God or sing to Him?  i.e…will it be a hymn or a praise and worship song?

  2. In the day mentioned what excellent things would Israel be singing to the Lord about (unknown at the writing but known to us)?
  1. In that Day how widespread would these excellent things be known?

  2. Where will the Lord be physically while Israel is praising and

 worshiping?

Application:  This passage shows a redeemed (unified) Israel praising and worshiping God Who dwells in her midst.  Prophetically revealed even while Israel was being destroyed and Judah was being called to repent, it shows the faithfulness and longsuffering of God.  What truth about God in this should thrill our souls even as Gentiles?
