FEED THE FLOCK FOR SLAUGHTER

Zechariah 11:1-17

I. COMING DESTRUCTION (vs. 1-3)

     a. How encouraging do verses 1-3 sound? _________________________________________________________________

     b. The destruction spoken against the region around and including Israel (‘pride’ = floodplain of Jordan) …when did this occur?

II. PROPHECY OF SHEPHERDS AND SHEEP (vs. 4-11)

IV. APPLICATION: Those who belong to the Good Shepherd enter by the gate. All attempts to get in any other way reveal they do

not belong (John 10:1-10) to the Good Shepherd. Those who reject Jesus Christ but hope to enter God’s presence by some other
