Tom Hoffman - Pastor

Pastor Tom Hoffman came to Fairview Loop Baptist Church in February 1996 while still serving in the US Air Force and finished his twenty years of military service in 2001. Pastor Tom and Linda grew up in south central Pennsylvania; they married in 1979. Tom holds a Masters degree in Christian Ministry from Wayland Baptist University.
Joe Gelatt - Youth Pastor

Joe was chosen to be a part-time youth pastor at FLBC in October 2008. He is a graduate of Cornerstone Christian University with a Bachelors of Art in Education. He presently teaches eighth grade Science at Wasilla Middle School. Janelle has a Bachelors of Social Work degree from Cedarville Christian University. Joe and Janelle were married in 2002, and decided to move to Alaska in 2003. They began faithfully attending and became members of Fairview Loop in 2004. Joe and Janelle have worked with the youth since 2004, and firmly believe that God has given them a passion for the youth ministry. They have five daughters, Amelia, Destry, Emory, Jolee and Selah. Both Joe and Janelle are excited to be used to serve God and the youth at Fairview Loop.
Missions Statement
The Youth ministry of FLBC assists parents by partnering with them in their God-given role of teaching and training their children to know God and His Word, become Christ-like by applying biblical truth to daily life, serve God and others through the ministries of the church.
